 Startup

We are very familiar with all of the tasks necessary to get controls working in a real plant environment.

We continue to troubleshoot our programming at the job site. We test our programming in the office before startup, but we do not assume that it will work. We keep a critical eye on our programming until we and the customer are completely satisfied. We are also willing to make changes during startup at the customer's request.

All of the IO into and from our control panels is tested without compromise. We realize that when our screens say that something is happening, that it must be verified to be true in the field. All of the components in our control panels and the field devices on the plant floor must be proven to communicate and be accurate for a controls project to be started up. This includes not only showing that the sensors in the field are working, but calibrating them to prove accuracy.

Saber Controls helps with operator training at startup. It is dangerous to hand over the reins of a piece of equipment if the operator has not learned not only about the equipment itself, but also about our controls package that he works with. We take this responsibility very seriously and will schedule training to help the operators the best that we can.

Startup is not complete until we and the customer are satisfied, but even then, our customers are not left to fend for themselves. We offer modem support for any project that includes a programmable logic controller.
